IPS Ceramics has recently collaborated with Abtech (Sheffield, England) – the leading supplier of electrical connection products to industrial markets – on improvements to a specialist range of fire rated enclosures. Technical ceramics are often preferred for use as terminal blocks because of their superior heat resistance properties, including direct heat situations. Speciality cordierite range launched by IPS Ceramics

IPS Ceramics has announced that one of the brand new ranges currently being launched features two types of speciality cordierite ceramic. Cordierite ceramics are well known for their exceptional resistance to thermal shock. They are often used for components that are subject to rapid thermal cycling, in applications where other ceramic materials would quickly crack or break. IPS Ceramics is fundraising for its 'Alzheimer/Dementia Memory Walk' A team of employees and family will complete the '7Km Memory Walk' on Saturday the 7th of October at Cholmondeley Castle to help raise funds for dementia. Around 220,000 loved ones will develop dementia every year which destroys and devastates so many lives and families.
